HTG-A Full Height ADA Access Gate
Our HTG-A full height access gate provides the same floor to ceiling level of security as our full height turnstiles while simultaneously providing an ADA compliant clear opening. This model features a spacious 36” opening to provide ample entry space for wheelchairs, deliveries, toolboxes, and more. The HTG-A is a great choice for entry and exit control via card swipe, push button, key turn, other means of controlled access. Our HTG-A works great as a standalone access control solution, but it truly shines when paired with one of our SecureTurn series full height turnstiles to provide a comprehensive access control solution. All Hayward Turnstiles full height ADA gates are designed for handicap access, but they are also often used as an alternate entrance alongside turnstiles for those entering with push carts, bulky deliveries, strollers, tools, and any other object that would not easily fit through a regular full height turnstile.

With an included key lock and electric strike lock that integrates with nearly any credential device, this gate is the perfect full height entrance control solution for anyone looking to control access into and out of their facility by way of key, card reader, proximity scanner, push button, or other credential devices.

Product Finish:
Available in your choice of galvanized, powder coated, or powder coat over galvanized finish to match your entryway or pair perfectly with one of our full height turnstiles.
Design & Construction:
- Designed as an ADA compliant solution for perimeter security
- ADA compliant passage width
- Fully welded exterior components
- Built from heavy gauge materials that meet ASTM standards
- Vertical steel bars keep unauthorized entrants out
- Minimally exposed, tamper proof hardware
Gate Operation:
- Gate automatically closes with included self closing hinge
- Field reversible electronic strike lock (24VDC) included
- Strike lock can be used mechanically with a key or electronically when integrated with virtually any access control software via a momentary dry contact
- Gate can be locked and unlocked using a key
- Monitored latch included to detect lock/unlock status and open/close status
