The TA-5640 electric strike is intended for use with Adams Rite style deadlatches or cylindrical Latches. It is for use on hollow metal or aluminum jambs. It comes standard with a 4 7/8″ clear aluminum faceplate with square corners and a faceplate in aluminum with radius corners, 1 1/4″x 4 7/8″.
It is available in a variety of most commonly used voltages: 12VDC, 24VDC, 24VAC (specify when ordering).

The TA-5640 electric strike is designed for use with access control systems for electronically locking and unlocking a door. Electrical actuation unlocks the strike jaw allowing the latchbolt to release so that the door can be opened without retracting the latch. This electric strike has been designed and built to provide years of trouble-free operation.
