The K-VAN proximity reader is an ideal selection when planning access control in rough or hostile environments. K-VAN is an ideal proximity reader for all indoor or outdoor applications where aggressive behavior, vandalism, crime or high-threat environments could be expected. Operators can rely on the Keyscan K-VAN vandal resistant proximity reader, constructed of a solid stainless steel body and Fibertex insert.
- Solid stainless steel bezel with Fibertex® insert provides the highest level of vandal resistance
- Fibertex® material is UL752 listed for bullet resistant integrity
- May be used on non-Keyscan systems with many HID 125kHz card protocols
- Pass-thru Wiegand output standard
- Suitable for outdoor applications in all weather conditions
- Provides non-contact read range of up to 25mm (1 inch)
- Limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship
