Allegion/Schlage Schlage Interchangeable Core (IC) Cylinders

IC cylinders are designed to be replaced without disassembling the lock making them ideal for larger campuses or higher security needs. IC cylinders allow many levels of security upgrade potential including their ability to unify key systems on different brands of locks.

Schlage interchangeable core cylinders are available in a variety of different key systems – open or restricted. Interchangeable core users can enjoy the convenience of fast rekeying without having to disassemble the lock. This feature is very useful in applications where a high frequency of core changes are needed or a lock disassembly is labor intensive such as with exit devices and certain types of all-glass doors, etc.

Full Size Interchangeable Cores (FSIC) are offered in 6-pin lengths and are fully upgradable to Primus XP. The Small Format Interchangeable Core (SFIC) cylinders come in the 7-pin Everest 29^TM R keyway. They can be used on a mixed cylinder campus with the SL cylinder options that share the R keyway and enable an upgrade to Primus XP levels of security. As with all SFIC cylinders, they are an industry standard format that filts any brand SFIC cored lockset.
