Allegion/Schlage GCK400 Wireless Gate Control Kit

GCK400 is a gate control kit that lets you eliminate trenching of communication lines to remote areas by wirelessly transmitting and receiving signals back to an access control system.

An AD-Series Gate Control Kit (GCK400) can eliminate the need for trenching in gate control applications by providing a wireless solution to reduce installation time and cost. It is ideal for parking lots, airports, military bases and garages.

The kit is comprised of the wireless reader interface (WRI400), the panel interface module (PIM400-TD2) a remote antenna (ANT-REM I/O), an antenna grounding kit (MGB+MCA5) and a 12 VDC power supply (593PI-12DC).

Compatible with most popular Wiegand or Clock & Data format credential readers on the market today, the wireless reader interface (WRI400) provides the local termination point for the reader connection. It sends and receives signals wirelessly with a range of up to 1000 feet in clear line of site to the remote antenna. A hardwired connection of antenna to the PIM400-TD2 then allows the signal to be transmitted on to the access control panel for confirmation. Distance to the reader can be enhanced significantly by the use of a high-gain antenna and/or repeater.

The GCK400 gate control kit complements and expands the AD-Series platform by bringing wireless access control to applications that are difficult to reach with a traditional wired approach.
