Allegion/Schlage AD-402 FIPS 201-2 Integration-ready Wireless Electronic Lock
AD-402 locks are designed for government applications when they can be installed as part of a tested and approved FIPS 201-2 integration. Real-time access control and lockdown are possible in a comprehensive wireless security solution.
Cylindrical, mortise, mortise deadbolt & exit trim
Multi-technology, smart (including PIV and PIV-I), or proximity credential use
Secure, 900 MHz communication is RS-485 compatible
AD Series locks were designed to be adaptable, allowing upgrades to be made to new technologies without taking the lock off the door. They feature built-in credential reader and access control sensors for simplified installation. The AD-402 is fully PIV and PIV-I compatible for dual authentication to an external cloud-based server.
AD-402 locks communicate by 900 MHz wireless technology to the PIM400, operating independently of the IT network. For real-time connectivity and lockdown, the PIM400 is wired to the access control panel (ACP) by RS-485.
Any lock intended for use in a Government facility that is required to meet the FIPS 201-2 standard must be part of an integrated Physical Access Control Software (PACS) providers’compliant solution. Access control features and capabilities will vary by PACS providers’ integration capabilities. The Government approved products list will show which providers have achieved listing and the products supported.
